DH Winter quarterfinalists found

DreamHack Winter 2010 has reached its quarterfinal stage, with eight teams advancing from the Round of 16.

mTw will have to clinch against SK Gaming following their 2-0 victory over Full-Gaming in the Round of 16 earlier this evening. SK earned their slot after defeating Millenium on two maps, but their next contestant might bite fiercer.

x6tence managed to win a nailbiter match against alchemists in their initial playoff encounter. Both teams had closed down one map each, but it turned out to be the Spaniards who would seal the deal on de_dust2.

Lions have also qualified for the quarterfinals, having fended off .no in their first encounter. Both maps were culminated with a scoreline of 16-11, thus advancing Lions who will take on x6tence tomorrow.

Clash of the titansis a suitable phrase to define the upcoming match between Natus Vincere and fnatic. The two teams advanced to their quarterfinal spot with 2-0 victories behind their backs, defeating RAGE and puta respectively.

Will fnatic smile just as much after tomorrow's encounter?

Last but not least is Frag eXecutors who will have to cross swords with Electronic Sahara. The French team, formerly known as Face2Face, were just prior to DH Winter picked up by the organization, and will seek to don their new home's colors as best as possible.

Will they be able to do so in the match against Frag eXecutors? Who knows, but with what the Poles have been displaying so far, they are sure to stumble upon heavy resistance.
